아르헨티나 경찰이 지난 8일 수도 부에노스아이레스 인근에 있는 한 가옥의 숨겨진 방에서 나치 관련 유품 75점을 발견해 압수했습니다. 나치 독재자 히틀러의 흉상과 인종을 식별하는데 사용된 도구 등이 있었다고 합니다.

파트리시아 불리히 치안 장관은 19 일 기자 회견에서 히틀러 유품들은 도시의 홀로코스트 관련 박물관에 기증된다고 설명했습니다. "이렇게 많은 나치 관련 물품이 아르헨티나에 존재했다니 매우 놀랍다. 이것이 매각되거나 수집가 사이에서 양도되는 일 따위가 더 이상 없을거라 말할 수 있는 것이 기쁘다"고 말했습니다.

아르헨티나 경찰과 국제 형사 경찰기구(인터폴)에 따르면, 숨겨진 방은 책장 뒤비밀 복도 외곽에 있었으며, 압수품에는 히틀러의 흉상이나 열쇠, 십자가가 새겨진 칼, 두상의 크기를 재는 의료용기기, 심지어 정치 선전에 사용된 물품이 포함됐습니다.

대전 종결시 나치 독일 붕괴 이후 수많은 나치 간부가 중남미로 피신했습니다. 이번 물품 발견에 대해 당국은 서재를 소유하고 있던 수집가의 신원을 밝히지 않았지만, 역사가와 협력하여 물품이 언제 어떻게 아르헨티나에 들어갔는지를 확인하고 있습니다.
