도널드 트럼프의 '반(反)이민' 행정명령에 시애틀 연방 지방 법원이 이슬람권 7개국 국적자의 미국 입국과 비자발급을 한시적으로 금지한 대통령 행정명령의 효력을 미국 전역에서 잠정중단하라고 결정했습니다.

워싱턴주는 반이민 행정명령이 수정헌법 1조에 위배되며, 워싱턴의 이미지와 경제에 타격을 준다고 소송을 제기한 것으로 시작됐습니다.

조지 W. 부시 전 대통령 재임 시절 임명된 시애틀 연방지법 판사 제임스 로바트는 구두로 가처분 신청을 받아들였습니다.

 

미국 전역에서 행정명령을 중단하라는 결정이 나온 것은 이번이 처음입니다.

이에 백악관은 즉각 반발했습니다.

스파이서 대변인은 "이번 대통령 행정명령의 의도는 미국을 지키려는 것, 대통령은 미국인을 보호할 헌법상 권한과 책임이 있다"고 강조했습니다.

I am so done with our judicial system. The refugees need seem to be more important than the legal citizens of our country. Naturalized ciitzens have to wait 10-20 years for a sibling petition and refugees can't even wait for 90 days. Immigraton is a privilege not a right. I'm an independent voter and I will never vote for a democrat ever. I'd rather chuck my ballot in a bonfire. Disgusting!
